SORRY, EVERYONE, WE LOST THE ONLY POOL IN WEST SOMERSET TONIGHT The Councillors shed crocodile tears and will start tearing it down with great glee tomorrow a sad day for West Somerset - we now have a 50 mile round trip to the nearest public pool. |
If you are concerned about the closure of the Minehead Swimming Pool you can sign up to the Downing Street petition which calls for the pool to be saved by clicking on http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/Aquasplash/#detail |

The Council Aquasplash Working Group - as agreed on 27th February - has met on a number of occasions |
What a fantastic turn-out on 27th; THANK YOU to everyone who spent their time to support us !
There were about 150 at the 4pm meeting and many more at the 6.30pm Council meeting. Fantastic speakers putting their own views across. If you couldn't make it - see the Report in the Free Press this week (29th February) The final draft resolution is here my submission to the meeting |
How can YOU help save Aquasplash ? By contacting your District Councillor and asking them how they justify closing Aquasplash and how they intend voting on this issue ? |
